* Want to ride with confidence up and down hills, through water, over ditches, steps, banks, skinnies, combinations, corners and many other cross country jumps?

* Want to learn how to ride in rhythm, set your horse up on the approach, ride in an effective position, ride in balance and control?

* Want to learn how to get your horse to jump with confidence so that he or she trusts you?

CXC Confidence Clinics are designed to help you and your horse to do the above and have fun, too.

In small groups we will aim to improve confidence by encouraging horse and rider to believe in each other. Successful cross country riding is all about having confidence through learning techniques and improving skills. We will work on how to set your horse up on approaching different types of jumps, riding lines, correct pace and impulsion, how to ride away from a fence, how to ride different types of jumps and how to put fences together in a line.

Each group will consist of people who want to ride at similar heights and we will work to build confidence.

Clinics are available over our extensive cross country course or in our roped grass show jumping arena.

Clinics are with Tanya Reid, BHS Accredited Professional Coach and ex-Intermediate Event Rider. Tanya has a wide range of experience of helping riders to gain in confidence and improve their technical knowledge and has produced many successful event horses from youngsters.

To book in, scroll down the bookings section until you find the date with the clinic of your choice and follow the booking instructions.
